Thank you for taking the time and effort in sharing your build and experiences. I am contemplating building a tiki 30 in thailand. It wil be the fourth boat I have built (after each one I said no more) But nothing beats the feeling of sailing a boat you built your self. I think perhaps you agree. Thank You again. Happy sailing

eine der schönsten Tiki 31, die ich je gesehen habe. Ich selbst habe in meiner Studentenzeit eine 21 gebaut und gesegelt und trage mich gerade mit dem Gedanken, eine Tiki 31 zu kaufen und umzubauen...

Ganz egal ob es mit unseren Familien in Lefkas, mit Rupert bei den Ionischen Inseln, im Kanal von Korinth und im Ambrakischen Golf, oder mit uns beiden um den Peloponnes oder durch Kroatien war, alle waren sie einzigartige Urlaube...

Hallo, ihre Seite macht ja richtig Spass. Dank Ihre Ausdauer und Ihrer Kompetenz ist es gelungen, ein sehr berzeugendes und individuelles Schiff zu kreieren. Kann mich nur schwer losreißen. Nachdem ich im Sommer mit einer geliehenen Tiki21 eine Woche um Elba bin, beschäftigt mich immer wieder ein Gedanke, selbst ein Projekt zu starten, wenn auch größer als die 21er.

Keep enjoying. I have many problems getting my boat in Spain due to the complex requirements unnecessary. I am studying the possibility of flagging the ship in another country. What do you think? Das ist ja eine fantastische HP, die Du da gemacht hast. Muss eine irrsinnige Arbeit machen sowas. Herzlichen Glckwunsch, man will die Törns sofort nachfahren. Das Schiff macht ebenfalls einen hervorragenden Eindruck. Jetzt wollt ich immer eine Tiki30 bauen, aber jetzt bau ich lieber die 31. Mit Besan ist das eine völlig andere Charakeristik. Aber Dein Stundenaufwand war ja enorm. Nochmals Gratulation. Wirklich selten gut gelungen das Ganze :-) Peter

Sehr gute Fotos. Wirklich gelungen, Kompliment! Auch die Bau-Qualtiät des Tiki 31 ist beeindruckend.

Congratulations for the Jojo !!!
I´m hardly thinking about build a Wharram.
But probably i´ll choose the Tiki 30 cause the only one mast. Most of time i sail alone. Please if possible give me your opinion about the safe in ocean and the tiki 30 and 31.

Looks just great and it is wonderful to see a Tiki 31 built with a sense of style = many are not built with that sense to the for and consequently, often do not look as good as they should.
Your boat, on the other hand, looks totally superb!

You have an absolutely beautiful boat and an equally beautiful web site. I am planning to build a Tiki 31 myself,
but my job is relocating to the Azores and it will be awhile before I get up to speed on the job and get settled in at a new location. I built a Tiki 21 almost 20 years ago and most of my sailing has been on her and some smaller boats I've built. ALso, all my sailing has been in Florida. The weather is very warm, the water is clear, and life is good. I don't expect to sail much in the Azores from Dec to Mar or April, but even then the Atlantic is considerably more ocean than the Gulf of Mexico and the Florida Straits. Thank you for the site and the inspiration!

Ich bin MAX PUCHER aus Meran, Südtirol Italien. Ich bin Wharramsailor seit 3-4 Jahre. Ich segel normalerweise um Korsika und Sardinien auf TIKI 26. Ich habe dein TIKI 31 Jojo mehrmals auf dein Website geschaut und....muß ich sagen auch geträumt!!! Wirklich schön! Super!

Congratulations on completing a beauty boat! I am celabrating the second year of building a Tiki 30, and am just finishing the second hull
construction, with fiber glassing the exterior planned for this summer.
I am particularly inspired by your reporting of the details of time, cost and specific items that you listed. I have been keeping fairly good tract of those items and wish that more builders would do so, and publish their results. I am over the original estimated time, but have not seen much of anyone offering how they took to finish a Tiki 30.

I hope you gradually get to increase the amount of time you are
sailing, as apposed to motoring time!
I have plans to build a Tiki 38, I haven't started to build yet,
four years at University has put it on hold. But I get out on the sea.
